The next chapter carries HASTPA's philosophy into the extraordinary landscapes of Chamba.
MTB Chamba has been positioned as a mountain-biking journey through lesser-known valleys, forests, village landscapes and Himalayan backcountry—using competitive cycling to introduce another region of Himachal to the adventure-travel market.
The inaugural MTB Chamba was promoted in 2025, followed by continued racing activity in 2026, including a Chamba MTB event promoted for March 21–22, 2026.
WHY CHAMBA MATTERS
Adventure tourism becomes transformative when visitors move beyond traditional tourist centres.
A cyclist travelling into Chamba needs local accommodation, food, transport, guides and services. The attraction is not an artificial tourism product.
The attraction is the landscape itself.
